Steps to be taken when land or premises are infected
15 Steps to be taken when land or premises are infected
(1) If an inspector has reasonable grounds to suspect the presence of a
disease or pest on any land or premises, the inspector may serve on the owner
or occupier a notice requiring the owner or occupier to quarantine the land
and premises and the plants thereon for a period of not exceeding twenty-one
days, and to take such measures or do such acts as are specified in such
notice or are prescribed.
(2) Such notice may name a time at which the doing
of anything thereby required shall be commenced and a time within which it
shall be completed.
