PARLIAMENTARY CONTRIBUTORY SUPERANNUATION ACT 1971 - SECT 16
Meetings of trustees
(1) There shall be a chairperson and a vice-chairperson of the trustees, each
of whom shall be appointed by the trustees.
(1A) The chairperson shall be a
member of the Legislative Assembly who is also a Minister of the Crown.
(2)
The chairperson, or in his or her absence from any meeting, the
vice-chairperson, shall preside at any meetings of the trustees and in the
absence from any meeting of both the chairperson and the vice-chairperson the
trustees may elect one of their number to preside at that meeting.
(3) The
trustees may act by a majority of those present at any meeting of the trustees
at which a quorum is present.
(4) The procedure at any meeting of the
trustees shall, subject to the provisions of the regulations, be such as the
trustees may determine, and the quorum for any meeting of the trustees shall
be 4 trustees.
(5) A direction of the trustees shall continue in force until
revoked by a subsequent direction of the trustees, notwithstanding any changes
in the persons who are trustees and notwithstanding that, by reason of the
dissolution or expiry of the Legislative Assembly or for any other reason,
there are for a time no trustees.
