Table of amending instruments

Presbyterian Church of Australia Act 1971 No 42. Assented to 29.11.1971. A proclamation under sec 1 (2) published in GG No 145 of 17.12.1971 appointing 17.12.1971 as the day for the commencement of secs 7, 8 and 9 was, by the Presbyterian Church of Australia (Amendment) Act 1972, sec 3, revoked and deemed never to have had any force or effect. Secs 7, 8 and 9 were subsequently repealed by the Presbyterian Church (Corporations) Act 1995 No 67, sec 23, with effect from 4.3.1996. This Act has been amended as follows:

1972 No 9 Presbyterian Church of Australia (Amendment) Act 1972. Assented to 16.3.1972.
Date of commencement of sec 2 (a), 2.12.1971, sec 4.
1995 No 67 Presbyterian Church (Corporations) Act 1995. Assented to 12.12.1995.
Date of commencement, 4.3.1996, sec 2 and GG No 22 of 23.2.1996, p 704.
This Act has also been amended pursuant to an order under secs 8 (2) and 9 (3) of the Reprints Act 1972 No 48 (formerly Acts Reprinting Act 1972). Order dated 20.8.1979, and published in GG No 114 of 24.8.1979, p 4098, declaring that the Presbyterian Church of Australia Act 1971 is an enactment to which sec 8 (2) and sec 9 (3) of the Acts Reprinting Act 1972 apply.
