Purposes for which photographs may be kept and used
18 Purposes for which photographs may be kept and used
(1) A photograph to which this Part applies may be kept and used by
Transport for NSW only for one or more of the following purposes--
(a) to
reproduce the likeness of a person on a Photo Card,
(b) to assist in
determining the identity of any person in the course of determining whether or
not to issue or replace a Photo Card,
(c) in connection with an investigation
relating to or leading to criminal proceedings against a person under any
provision of this Act or under a provision of Part 4AA (Fraud) or 4AB
(Identity offences), Division 2 or 3 of Part 5 (Forgery) or Part 5A (False and
misleading information) of the Crimes Act 1900in relation to a Photo Card,
(d) for the conduct of criminal proceedings under this Act,
