PAWNBROKERS AND SECOND-HAND DEALERS ACT 1996 - SECT 6
Pawnbrokers to be licensed
A person must not carry on a business of lending money on the security of
pawned goods except in accordance with a licence held by the person.
Maximum
penalty: 100 penalty units.
