Appeals to Land and Environment Court
24 Appeals to Land and Environment Court
(1) An applicant for authorisation under this Act may appeal to the Land and
Environment Court against a decision of the Minister: (a) not to grant the
authorisation, or
(b) to impose conditions on the grant of the authorisation.
Any such appeal may be made within 28 days after written notice of the
decision of the Minister is given to the applicant.
(2) The owner or manager
of a plantation may appeal to the Land and Environment Court against a
decision of the Minister to cancel the authorisation of the plantation (or any
part of the plantation). Any such appeal may be made within 28 days after
written notice of the decision of the Minister is given to the owner or
manager.
