PORTS AND MARITIME ADMINISTRATION ACT 1995 - SECT 15
Other provisions relating to operating licence
(1) An operating licence may impose conditions and restrictions on the
exercise of port safety functions under the licence.
(2) The initial term of
an operating licence is to be for a maximum of 5 years, as determined by the
Minister. After the initial term, the Minister may renew an operating licence
for a maximum of 5 years at a time (even if its term has expired).
(3) An
operating licence may be varied by the Minister during its term by notice
served on the Port Corporation.
(4) The Minister may cancel an
operating licence for a contravention of the licence or in any other
circumstances authorised by the licence.
