(1) A matter or thing done or omitted to be done by the Secretary or an
authorised officer or a person acting under the direction of the Secretary or
an authorised officer does not, if the matter or thing was done or omitted to
be done in good faith for the purpose of exercising a function under this Act,
subject the Secretary or authorised officer or person so acting personally to
any action, liability, claim or demand.
(2) However, any such liability
attaches instead to the Crown.
