Courts and others to provide information

22 Courts and others to provide information

(1) As soon as practicable after a registered psychologist is convicted of an offence or a sex/violence criminal finding is made against a registered psychologist, the Clerk or other proper officer of the court must (if the court is aware that the person is a registered psychologist) notify the Board of the conviction or criminal finding together with details of any penalty imposed for the offence.
(2) The regulations may make provision for or with respect to:
(a) requiring persons or bodies to refer to the Board matters that indicate that reasonable grounds exist for the making of a complaint under this Act, and
(b) requiring any such matter referred to the Board to be dealt with as a complaint under this Act.
(3) The regulations may provide that subsection (1) does not apply in respect of particular offences.
