PESTICIDES ACT 1999 - SECT 60
Offences relating to false or misleading statements and holding out
60 Offences relating to false or misleading statements and holding out
(1) A
person must not, in connection with: (a) an application for a licence or a
certificate of competency, or
(b) a notice of any proposed change in the
particulars specified in a licence or certificate of competency,
make any
statement that the person knows to be false or misleading in a material
particular. Maximum penalty: $60,000.
(2) A person must not make any
representation to the effect that the person is the holder of a licence or
certificate of competency if the person does not hold the licence or
certificate concerned. Maximum penalty: $60,000.
