Employment and remuneration of Commissioner
(1) The employment of the Commissioner is to be governed by a contract of
employment between the Commissioner and the Minister.
(2) The provisions of
sections 36 (1), 38, 39 and 42 apply to the Commissioner in the same way as
they apply to a NSW Police Force senior executive (subject to a reference in
those provisions to the Commissioner being construed as a reference to the
Minister).
