(1) Subject to this Act, the Commissioner holds office for such period (not
exceeding 5 years) as is specified in the Commissioner's instrument of
appointment, but is eligible (if otherwise qualified) for re-appointment.
(2)
The Commissioner may be re-appointed with effect before the expiry of the
Commissioner's term of office. In that case, the Commissioner's existing term
of office expires.
