(2) Failure to
comply with subsection (1) with respect to any order under section 173 (2) or
(3) or 181D (1) does not affect the validity of the order.
(3) In this
section,
"police officer under LECC investigation" means a police officer in respect of
whom the LECC has notified the Commissioner that an investigation of serious
misconduct or officer maladministration that is serious maladministration is
being carried out under the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission Act 2016 .
