37 Licence fees

(1) There is payable by a licensee, in respect of each year of the term of a licence, such fee, not exceeding the prescribed amount in respect of each kilometre or portion of a kilometre of the length of the pipeline on the first day of that year, as the Minister may in each case determine and specify in an instrument in writing served on the licensee.

(2) A fee referred to in subsection (1) is payable within one month after:

(a) in the case of the first year of the term of the licence-the day on which that term commenced, and

(b) in the case of a year of the term of a licence other than the first-the anniversary of that day.
