PARTNERSHIP ACT 1892 - SECT 81
Regulations
81 Regulations
(1) The Governor may make regulations, not inconsistent with this Act, for or
with respect to any matter that is required or permitted to be prescribed or
that is necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or giving
effect to this Part.
(2) In particular, the regulations may make provision
for or with respect to the following: (a) the keeping of records by a
limited partnership or incorporated limited partnership,
(b) information or
copies of records or documents required to be provided to the Registrar by a
limited partnership or incorporated limited partnership,
(c) the form in
which any record required under this Act to be kept is to be kept,
(d) the
fees required to accompany an application, statement, notice or other document
lodged under this Act or the fees payable for the inspection of the Register
or for the issue of certificates of information recorded in the Register.
(3)
The regulations may exempt, or provide for the exemption, of any person or
class of persons or any other matter or thing from any specified provision or
provisions of this Act or the regulations, in such circumstances (if any) and
subject to such conditions (if any) as may be specified or referred to in the
regulations.
(4) A regulation may create an offence punishable by a penalty
not exceeding 20 penalty units.
