ORANGE SHOW GROUND ACT 1897 - SECT 3A

3A Exemption from rates

(1) Whilst the land purchased under section three of this Act is held by the trustees for the use and general purposes of the Orange Pastoral and Agricultural Association, such land shall be deemed to be a public reserve for the purposes of paragraph (c) of subsection one of section one hundred and thirty-two and subsection seven of section three hundred and seventy-nine of the Local Government Act 1919 , as amended by subsequent Acts.

(2) This section shall be deemed to have commenced on the first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.
