OFFSHORE MINERALS ACT 1999 - SECT 25

25 Licence holder

(1) References in this Act to the holder of a licence or the licence holder are references to the person whose name is entered in the offshore mining register as the person who holds the licence.

Note: This Act is based upon the grant and registration of licences.

Note: If a licence is granted to a person, that person’s name is entered in the register (see section 333).

Note: The entry in the register in relation to a licence will be varied if there is a change in the holder of the licence (see section 338 (4)).

(2) A licence may be held by more than one person.
