OMBUDSMAN ACT 1974 - SECT 31A

31A Constitution of Joint Committee

(1) As soon as practicable after the commencement of this Part and the commencement of the first session of each Parliament, a joint committee of members of Parliament, to be known as the Committee on the Office of the Ombudsman and the Police Integrity Commission, is to be appointed.

(2) The Joint Committee has and may exercise the functions conferred or imposed on it by or under this Act, the Police Integrity Commission Act 1996 , the Government Information (Information Commissioner) Act 2009 , or any other Act.
