OMBUDSMAN ACT 1974 - SECT 25
Consultation with responsible Minister
(1) In an investigation under this Act, the Ombudsman shall, on request by the
responsible Minister, consult that Minister on the conduct or police conduct
the subject of the investigation.
(2) Before publishing a report under
section 26, the Ombudsman: (a) shall inform the responsible Minister that he
or she proposes to publish such a report, and
(b) shall, on request by that
Minister, consult that Minister.
