NEW SOUTH WALES RETIREMENT BENEFITS ACT 1972 - SECT 61
Medical examination
61 Medical examination
(1) The Board may require an employee to undergo a medical examination in
order to determine his eligibility to receive a benefit under section 31.
(2)
The Board may, in respect of an employee who does not undergo or fails to pass
a medical examination referred to in subsection (1), determine his benefit
under section 31 as less than the amount provided by that section but not less
than the sum of one-sixth of the amount of the annual wages being paid to the
contributor at the time the benefit becomes payable together with
one-thirtieth of the amount of those annual wages for each completed year of
his service.
