NEW SOUTH WALES CRIME COMMISSION ACT 1985 - SECT 9
Delegation by Commission
(1) The Commission may delegate to the Commissioner or an
Assistant Commissioner or a member of the staff of the Commission any of its
functions.
(2) The Commissioner may delegate to an Assistant Commissioner or
a member of the staff of the Commission any of his or her functions.
(3) An
Assistant Commissioner or member of staff of the Commission may delegate to a
member of staff of the Commission any of the functions delegated to the
Assistant Commissioner or member, subject to any conditions to which the
delegation is subject.
(4) The following functions may not be delegated: (a)
a power of delegation conferred by this section,
(b) a function of making a
report under this Act,
(c) the power of a member to require the principal
officer of an agency to furnish information under section 10,
(d) the power
of a member to require a person to appear before the Commission and produce
documents or things under section 16,
(e) the power of a member to require a
person to attend and produce a document or thing under section 17,
(f) the
power of the Commissioner to issue a warrant for the arrest of a person under
section 18AA.
