NATURAL RESOURCES COMMISSION ACT 2003 - SECT 4
Definitions
(1) In this Act--
"Assistant Commissioner" means an Assistant Commissioner for the Natural
Resources Commission.
"Commission" means the Natural Resources Commission established under Part 2.
"Commissioner" means the Commissioner for the Natural Resources Commission.
"exercise" a function includes perform a duty.
"function" includes a power, authority or duty.
"government agency" means any public or local authority, and includes-- (a) a
Public Service agency, State owned corporation and council of a local
government area, and
(b) the head of a government agency.
"natural resource management" --see section 5. Note : The Interpretation Act
1987 contains definitions and other provisions that affect the interpretation
and application of this Act.
(2) Notes included in this Act do not form part
of this Act.
