(1) The Commission may enter arrangements with any government agency or other
body or person (including the engagement of consultants) for the provision of
assistance to the Commission in connection with the exercise of its functions.
(2) The Commission may obtain advice from any advisory committee appointed by
the Commission.
(3) The Commission may, for the purposes of exercising its
functions, direct a government agency to provide the Commission with any
relevant information held by the agency, and the agency must (subject to
subsection (4)) comply with the direction.
(4) If a dispute arises about any
such direction, the dispute may be referred to the Premier for resolution.
