NATIONAL ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION COUNCIL (NEW SOUTH WALES) ACT 1995 - SECT 24

24 Annual report of Council

(1) The Council must, as soon as practicable after 30 September in each year, prepare a report of its operations during the year ended on the preceding 30 June.

(2) A report prepared under subsection (1) must include:

(a) a copy of the report the Council receives under section 23 and copies of the reports for the year that it receives from the Commonwealth and other State and Territory Ministers under corresponding legislation, and

(b) the Council’s overall assessment of the implementation and effectiveness of national environment protection measures having regard to all of the reports referred to in paragraph (a).

(3) A copy of the report is to be laid before each House of the Parliament of the State within 7 sitting days of that House after the Council has formally adopted the report.
