MOTOR VEHICLE REPAIRS ACT 1980 - SECT 74
Production of licences and certificates
(1) Except where he or she has reasonable excuse for not doing so, the holder
of a licence shall on demand, at the place of business in respect of which the
licence is granted, produce that licence to an inspector.
(2) Except where he
or she has reasonable excuse for not doing so, the holder of a
tradesperson’s certificate shall on demand, at any place of business in
respect of which a licence is granted and where he or she does repair work,
produce the certificate to an inspector.
Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.
