MOTOR VEHICLES (THIRD PARTY INSURANCE) ACT 1942 - SECT 41

41 General penalty
(1) Any person who is guilty of an offence against this Act for which no
penalty is specifically provided shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding 3
penalty units.
(2) Any penalty imposed by or under this Act may be recovered
before the Local Court.
(3) The court shall cause particulars of every
conviction for an offence against this Act and of every order made under
this Act to be forwarded to the Commissioner.
