23 Offences
(2) Any person, other than the Government Insurance Office, who undertakes, or
offers to undertake insurance business in terms of this Act, shall be guilty
of an offence against this Act and shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding
10 penalty units.
(3) Any person who in or with respect to any proposal for a
third-party policy knowingly makes any false statement or misrepresentation
with regard to any material fact or thing or fails to disclose any material
fact or thing of which that person has knowledge shall be guilty of an offence
against this Act.
