19R Procedure on notice of appeal
(1) The relevant registrar of the Local Court must give notice of the time and
place of the hearing of an appeal to the responsible licensing official and to
the appellant.
(2) A notice given under subsection (1) is to inform the
person to whom it is given of the grounds of the appeal.
(3) The hearing of
an appeal may proceed regardless of any omission from or error in a notice
given under this section or the failure to give the notice if the Local Court
is satisfied that the appellant and the responsible licensing official knew of
the time and place of the hearing and were not prejudiced by the omission,
error or failure to give notice.
