MARINE POLLUTION ACT 2012 - SECT 55

55 Offence of being responsible for discharge of sewage into State waters from a ship

A person responsible for the discharge of any sewage from a large ship into State waters is guilty of an offence.

: Maximum penalty--

(a) in the case of an individual--$220,000, or

(b) in the case of a corporation--$1,100,000.
