66AA Audio recording of meeting
(1) The Board must cause an audio recording to be made of any proceedings of
the Board in connection with the consideration by the Board of the exercise
(including proposed exercise) of any function under this Division in respect
of a registered medical practitioner: (a) during which the practitioner (or
the practitioner’s adviser) is present, or
(b) during which a person other
than a member of the Board or a staff member of the Board is present and gives
the Board oral information relevant to the Board’s consideration.
(2) A
recording under this section is not admissible in evidence in any civil or
criminal proceedings in a court of law (other than proceedings for an offence
under this Act) or in an inquest or inquiry under the Coroners Act 1980 .
