Board may require practitioner to undergo examination
54 Board may require practitioner to undergo examination
(1) The Board may by notice given to a registered medical practitioner against
whom a complaint has been made direct the practitioner to undergo an
examination by a specified registered medical practitioner or a specified
registered health practitioner at a specified time and place.
(2) A
practitioner must not be directed to undergo an examination under subsection
(1) unless it is reasonable to require the examination, given the nature of
the complaint against the practitioner. The time and place specified for the
examination must be reasonable.
(3) The examination is to be at the expense
of the Board.
