MEDICAL PRACTICE ACT 1992 - SECT 23
Some applications for registration to be dealt with by Committee
23 Some applications for registration to be dealt with by Committee
(1) An application for registration made by a person whose name was removed
from the Register pursuant to an order under this Act on the grounds that the
person did not have sufficient physical capacity or mental capacity to
practise medicine is to be dealt with by a Committee instead of the Board.
(2) For that purpose the Committee has all the functions of the Board under
this Act with respect to the application and a decision of a Committee on the
application is taken to be a decision of the Board.
