76K Duties of certain agencies
(1) The Director-General of the Department of Health, the Commissioner of
Corrective Services, the Director-General of the Department of Human Services
and any other government Department or agency responsible for the detention,
care or treatment of a forensic patient or correctional patient, must use
their best endeavours to comply with a request made to them under this Act by
the Tribunal if the request is consistent with the discharge of their
responsibilities and does not unduly prejudice the discharge of their
functions.
(2) A court or the Director of Public Prosecutions must notify the
Tribunal if relevant charges against a forensic patient or
correctional patient are dismissed or the person is not to be further
proceeded against in respect of the relevant charges.
