Medical examination of detained affected persons
61A Medical examination of detained affected persons
(1) An authorised medical officer must medically examine each affected person
detained in a mental health facility to determine whether the person's
continued detention in the facility is necessary.
(2) The medical
examinations are to be carried out at intervals of not more than 3 months.
