6 Performance of Director-General’s functions

(1) Anything authorised or required by or under this Act (other than the power under this section) to be done by the Director-General may be done by any officer appointed and holding office under section 7 of the Fair Trading Act 1987 who is authorised generally or specially in that behalf in writing by the Director-General, and for the purpose of doing so that officer shall be deemed to be the Director-General.
