MOTOR DEALERS ACT 1974 - SECT 11
Investigation of application
(1) The Director-General may make such inquiries as the Director-General
considers necessary in relation to an application for a licence.
(2) The
Commissioner of Police shall, if the Director-General of the Department of
Fair Trading so requests, investigate an application for a licence and, as
soon as practicable after completing the investigation, make a report to the
Director-General of the Department of Fair Trading on the investigation.
