Calling the jury
74 Calling the jury
(1) The sheriff shall furnish to the clerk of the Court separate cards with
the respective names places of abode and additions of the jurors returned in
the jury panel written thereon.
(2) At the trial of any issue the clerk or
other ministerial officer of the Court shall put the cards together in a box.
(3) Upon the issue being called on to be tried the clerk or officer shall in
open Court draw out the cards one after another until such a number of jurors
appears as will allow of a jury of four being struck therefrom after each
party to the record has struck off two names.
