MOREE AND DISTRICT WAR MEMORIAL EDUCATIONAL CENTRE ACT 1962 - SECT 6

6 Trustees

(1) The Minister may by notification published in the Gazette appoint three trustees of the Educational Centre and the said land. Of such trustees:

(a) one shall be an officer of the Department of Education who shall be chairman,

(b) one shall be the chairman of the Moree Regional Public Library Committee,

(c) one shall be an alderman of the Moree Plains Shire Council.

(2) The trustees in the exercise of their powers, authorities, duties and functions shall be subject to the control and direction of the Minister.

(3) The trustees and their successors shall be a body corporate under the name of the “Trustees of the Moree and District War Memorial Educational Centre”, shall have perpetual succession and a common seal and may sue and be sued by that name in all courts.
