MINING ACT 1992 - SECT 69

69 Shape and dimensions of land over which mining lease may be granted

(1) The land over which a mining lease is granted may differ in size or shape from, but may not include land other than, the land over which the lease was sought.

(2) Subsection (1)--

(a) extends to the grant of a single mining lease for 2 or more applications made by the same applicant, and

(b) as extended, applies as if the land over which the mining lease was sought was the land over which the 2 or more mining leases were sought.
