292S Effect of cancellation or suspension

(1) The cancellation of an authorisation does not affect any liability for an authorisation fee that arose on a date that occurred before that cancellation.

(2) Subject to the regulations, an authorisation fee does not cease to be payable, or become refundable, because the Secretary directs a person to suspend operations under the authorisation or suspends an activity approval.

Note : Section 382A gives the Secretary power to waive or refund fees payable under this Act in appropriate cases.
