New South Wales Consolidated Acts New South Wales Consolidated ActsA person employed in or about any mine or mining land who removes or conceals, or attempts to remove or conceal, a mineral found in that mine or mining land with intent to defraud an owner of the mine or mining land is guilty of an offence.
Maximum penalty:(a) 1,000 penalty units or imprisonment for 5 years, or both, in the case of an offence dealt with on indictment, or(b) 200 penalty units or imprisonment for 2 years, or both, in the case of an offence dealt with summarily.
