Compensation for cancellation
127 Compensation for cancellation
(1) The holder of an authority is not entitled to compensation merely because
the authority is cancelled.
(2) However, if an authority is cancelled on the
ground that the whole or any part of the land concerned is required for a
public purpose, the holder of the authority is entitled to compensation, of an
amount to be determined by the Minister, for any mining improvements made to
the land.
