LAND SALES ACT 1964 - SECT 6

6 Exemptions

(1) The Minister may by order published in the Gazette declare that the requirements of section 4 (c) and such other provisions of this Part as may be specified in the order shall not apply to or in respect of any subdivision specified in the order and any such order shall have effect according to its tenor.

(2) An instalment contract for the sale of a lot in a subdivision of land under the provisions of the Real Property Act 1900 , being a contract under which the vendor of the lot is:

(a) a statutory body representing the Crown, or

(b) a local council,

is exempt from the provisions of this Part.
