New South Wales Consolidated Acts New South Wales Consolidated ActsNotwithstanding any stipulation in an instalment contract, any money paid by or on behalf of a purchaser of a lot under the instalment contract to the trustee under the trust deed relating to the subdivision in which such lot is included or to the agent of the vendor, whether by way of preliminary or other deposit or otherwise, shall be deemed to have been paid to the vendor, but this section shall not affect any proceedings which may be taken against the trustee or other person.
