New South Wales Consolidated ActsAny stipulation in an instalment contract to the effect that the assurance to, or the registration of the title of, the purchaser shall be prepared or carried out at the expense of the purchaser by a solicitor or conveyancer appointed by or acting for the vendor, and any stipulation which might restrict a purchaser under an instalment contract in the selection of a solicitor or conveyancer to act on the purchaser’s behalf in relation to any interest in a lot agreed to be purchased, shall be void.
