Request to another jurisdiction to investigate aspects of claim
469 Request to another jurisdiction to investigate aspects of claim
(1) The
Law Society Council may request a corresponding authority to arrange for the
investigation of any aspect of a claim being dealt with by the Council and to
provide a report on the result of the investigation.
(2) A report on the
result of the investigation received from: (a) the corresponding authority, or
(b) a person or entity authorised by the corresponding authority to conduct
the investigation,
may be used and taken into consideration by the
Law Society Council in the course of dealing with the claim under this Part.
