Manner of application
46 Manner of application
(1) An application for the grant or renewal of a
local practising certificate must be: (a) made in accordance with the
regulations and must provide or be accompanied by such information as may be
required by the regulations, and
(b) accompanied by the appropriate fees.
(2) The regulations may require the applicant to disclose matters that may
affect the applicant’s eligibility for the grant or renewal of a
local practising certificate or the question whether the applicant is a fit
and proper person to hold a local practising certificate.
(3) The regulations
may indicate that particular kinds of matters previously disclosed in a
particular manner need not be disclosed for the purposes of the current
application.
(4) Without limiting subsection (2), the regulations may require
the applicant to disclose details of, or details of the nature of,
pre-admission events.
(5) The appropriate Council may require an applicant to
provide such further information as it considers relevant to its determination
of the application within such time as it specifies.
