Notice of termination of provision of legal services
139 Notice of termination of provision of legal services
(1) A corporation
must, within the prescribed period after it ceases to engage in legal practice
in this jurisdiction as an incorporated legal practice, give the Law Society a
written notice, in the approved form, of that fact. Maximum penalty: 50
penalty units.
(2) The regulations may make provision for or with respect to
determining whether and when a corporation ceases to engage in legal practice
in this jurisdiction.
