LAKE ILLAWARRA AUTHORITY ACT 1987 - SCHEDULE 1

SCHEDULE 1 – Development area

(Section 5 (1))

Land within the Parishes of Terragong, Wollongong, Calderwood and Kembla in the County of Camden, and within the City of Wollongong and Municipality of Shellharbour, bounded by the mean high water mark of Lake Illawarra and bounded at the entrance of that Lake:

(a) by a straight line (bearing generally easterly) from the easternmost point of that mean high water mark in Pur Pur Bay to the westernmost point of Windang Island, and

(b) from that westernmost point, by a straight line (bearing generally north-westerly) to the nearest point of that mean high water mark directly west of the southernmost extremity of the surf club situated on Berrwarra Point,

Parish of Wollongong

All that piece or parcel of land situated in the City of Wollongong, Parish of Wollongong and County of Camden: being Crown Land and part of Reserve for Public Recreation and Parking notified in Government Gazettes dated 17 April 1970 and 27 July 1979; commencing on the generally southern side of Northcliffe Drive at the northernmost corner of Portion 123; bounded thence generally on the north by that side of that drive, generally easterly for 95 metres; then on the east by a line bearing 180 degrees to its intersection with the Mean High Water Mark of Lake Illawarra as described in the Lake Illawarra Authority Act 1987 , Number 285; generally on the south-east by that Mean High Water Mark south-westerly to its intersection with the north-eastern boundary of the said Portion 123 or its south-easterly prolongation; and on the south-west by that boundary north-westerly to the point of commencement.
Fee simple estate and native title in the following lands and water:

All those pieces or parcels of land situate in the City of Wollongong, Parish of Wollongong and County of Camden, being Lot 2 in DP 558943, Lot 1, DP 536405, Lot 1, DP 654264, Lot 8, DP 218305; Lot 4, 5, 6 and 7, DP 241845; Lots 4 and 5, DP 215273, those parts of the land in Reserve No 87722 for Public Recreation and Parking notified in Government Gazette of 17 April 1970 and 27 July 1979 generally easterly of the eastern boundary of portion 123 and its southerly prolongation; together with any hiatus which may exist between these land and the mean high water mark of Lake Illawarra, as described in the Lake Illawarra Authority Act 1987 No 285 , any such hiatus being bounded on the west by the southerly prolongation of the said eastern boundary of portion 123 and generally on the south by the northwesterly prolongation of the westernmost southwestern boundary of the said Lot 2, DP 558943, but excluding thereout the land acquired by the Lake Illawarra Authority in the Government Gazette of 3 January 1997.

All that piece or parcel of land situate in the City of Wollongong, Parish of Wollongong and County of Camden: being that part of Lot 1, DP 396569 bounded on the northwest by part of the southeastern boundary of the road shown in R33235-1603 and on the southeast by part of the northwestern boundary of portion 110; the residue of the said portion 110 bounded on the northwest by the said southeastern boundary of the said road; together with any hiatus that may exist between the said residue of portion 110 and the mean high water mark of Lake Illawarra, as described in the Lake Illawarra Authority Act 1987 No 285 , any such hiatus being bounded on the southwest by the southeasterly prolongation of the southwestern boundary of the said portion 110 and on the east by the southerly prolongation of the eastern boundary of the said portion 110.

All that piece or parcel of land situate in the City of Wollongong, Parish of Wollongong and County of Camden: being Lot 1, DP 594474, the land in reserve No 91333 for Public Recreation and Access notified in Government Gazette No 169 of 1 December 1978; together with any hiatus which may exist between these lands and the mean high water mark of Lake Illawarra, as described in the Lake Illawarra Authority Act 1987 No 285 ; any such hiatus being bounded on the west by the southerly prolongation of the westernmost boundary of the said Lot 1, DP 594474 and on the east by the southerly prolongation of the eastern boundary of DP 964506.

All that piece or parcel of land situated in the Local Government Areas of Wollongong City and Shellharbour City, Parish of Wollongong and County of Camden, being Lot 1 shown in Deposited Plan 1100879.
