LOCAL GOVERNMENT (CITY OF SYDNEY BOUNDARIES) ACT 1967 - SECT 24

24 Division into, and alteration of, wards

(1) Within twelve months after the appointed day:

(a) the Commissioners shall submit to the Minister proposals for the division into wards of the City of Sydney and the Municipality of Northcott as respectively altered and constituted by this Act, and

(b) the Councils of the Municipalities of Leichhardt, Marrickville and Woollahra shall each submit to the Minister a proposal for the alteration of the division of its area, as altered by this Act, into wards.

(2) Each proposal shall be deemed to be an application to the Governor to exercise the powers conferred on him by section fifty-eight of the Principal Act and the provisions of that section shall, mutatis mutandis, apply to such proposals.
